<h3>Guest Speakers</h3>
<p><strong>Tommy Walker</strong><br />
<strong><img title="Tommy Walker" src="http://regent.edu/academics/centers/worship/images/tommy_walker.jpg" alt="" width="125" height="152" align="right" /></strong>Tommy has led worship at <a href="http://www.caeaglerock.com/" target="_blank">Christian Assembly</a> in Los Angeles, Calif., since 1990. He has traveled with Promise Keepers, Greg Laurie Harvest Crusades and Franklin Graham. He has also served with such church leaders as Jack Hayford, Bill Hybels and Rick Warren and led worship in the Philippines, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Guatemala, Zambia, Brazil, and many other nations.</p>
<p>Tommy has recorded worship projects for Maranatha! Music, Integrity Music, and Get Down Ministries. He has written well over 100 songs currently being tracked by CCLI and sung in churches around the world, including “He Knows My Name,” “Only A God Like You,” “That&#8217;s Why We Praise Him,” “Lord I Believe In You,” “Mourning Into Dancing,” “Break Through,” “We Will Remember,” and “I Have a Hope.”</p>
<p><strong>Randy Alward</strong><br />
<strong><img title="Tommy Walker" src="http://regent.edu/academics/centers/worship/images/RandyAlward.jpg" alt="" width="125" height="147" align="right" /></strong>Randy is a third-generation pastor&#8217;s son, youth, associate, and senior pastor. He joined Maranatha! in 1994, overseeing product development and sales. In 1998 he became the COO. He has served as program director and worship director for ministries such as Promise Keepers, Family Life, Night of Worship, and Worship Leader Workshops, along with producing over 300 recordings, including such products as WOW worship, Songs 4 Worship, Top 25 and Top 40 brands. In 2004, Randy became Maranatha! Music&#8217;s President/CEO, where he currently serves. He is also on the board of directors for The Corinthian Group, Maranatha Music, CCLI, and CMPA.</p>
<p>Randy is the founder and executive producer of “The Invitation” with pastor Rick Warren, including series titles with Beth Moore, Kay Warren, John Baker and Tim Clinton, with over 1.4 million copies sold in the U.S.</p>
<p><strong>Phil Sillas</strong><br />
<img class="alignright" src="http://regent.edu/academics/centers/worship/images/phil_sillas.jpg" alt="" width="102" height="133" />Phil&#8217;s diverse experience as a songwriter (Avalon, Jaci Velasquez, Natalie Grant, David Foster, Aaron Neville, and others), music producer (GB5, The Peculiar People Band, and Plus One) and composer <em>(Black Hawk Down</em>, <em>Enemy of State</em>,<em> Melrose Place</em>, <em>Touched by an Angel</em>, <em>Dawson&#8217;s Creek</em>, <em>America&#8217;s Next Top Model</em>, and others) has been put to good use as the Song DISCovery A&amp;R. His position finds him gathering and listening to thousands of songs to discover the 20 or more that will go before a final selection board for each volume of Song DISCovery.</p>
<p>Before joining the Worship Leader team, Phil was a staff songwriter for Black Oak Publishing, Warner Chapel, Word Publishing, Brentwood-Benson Publishing, and Justice Music.</p>
<p><strong>David M. Edwards</strong><br />
<img title="David M. Edwards" src="http://regent.edu/academics/centers/worship/images/edwards_david_sm2.jpg" alt="" width="125" height="120" align="right" />David M. Edwards comes to the University with lifetime experience as a<strong> teacher, writer, musician and pastor</strong>. In 2009, Edwards produced and sang on Margaret Becker&#8217;s new Christmas album <em>Gift of Love</em>. In 2007 and 2005, he received awards from nationally published <em>Worship Leader Magazine</em> for his singles &#8220;Holy Rain&#8221; and &#8220;Create in Me.&#8221;</p>
