For his 4th solo album, award-winning songwriter, worship leader, author, speaker, and artist, David M.  Edwards has teamed up with producer extraordinaire, Stephen Leiweke, for what critics have called a “career defining” offering. From the opening lines of the rockin’ “Awesome God”, to the heart-wrenching refrains of “God’s Peace”, this entire project oozes with a passion for God that is palpable. Edwards’ said he knew what he wanted when they put their hands to the plow on this project and they never looked back. David’s vocal work is amazing and the accompanying background vocals by his A-list Session friends (Craig Adams, Michelle Swift, Kara Williamson) is warm, rich and inviting – you simply find yourself singing along. The sheer
creativity in every track reveals Leiweke’s gifts and obviously the chemistry with Edwards works. While worship leaders will find here great songs to sing at their respective churches, this record is an enjoyable feast for your ears and your spirit.

Additional Notes:
Worship Leader Magazine selected “Children of God” (4th Track) from a pre-release copy to be featured on their September 2009 SongDISCovery CD. Additionally, “Holy Rain” (6th Track) co-written with Regi Stone, won the Worship Leader Magazine Praise Award for Best Independent Song in 2006 from a previous recording with Stone.  All songs are written by Edwards and several are co-written with Regi Stone, Michael Farren (Pocket Full of Rocks), Margaret Becker, Robin Welty, Steve Hindalong (“God Of Wonders”) and Leiweke.
